As long as I can remember, I have been highly sensitive to the people and environments around me. As a teenager, I searched for answers, trying to understand why I felt so different. It wasn’t until my early twenties that I discovered the term empath, and everything began to make sense.
Â
I finally understood why I felt overwhelmed in crowds, why I needed solitude to recharge after being around others, and how easily I absorbed other people’s emotions as my own. I realized how deeply I was affected by negativity, disharmony, and conflict — and how essential time in nature was for restoring my balance. The more time I spent in nature, the more connected I became to myself and my intuition.

As I began exploring my natural gifts, my intuitive and psychic abilities started to unfold. I have always felt drawn to Eastern philosophies, alternative healing, and metaphysics. My introduction to energy healing began in with Reiki, where I learned about chakras and the energetic body. When I discovered that energy could be sent across distance — even across time — it expanded my understanding of what is possible. Inspired to go deeper, I continued my studies and became a certified Reiki Master in 2014.

Over the years, I have attended psychic development courses, shamanic journeying workshops, and meditation circles to further develop my intuitive abilities. In 2016, my spiritual path has also led me to travel to Peru, where I participated in traditional ayahuasca ceremonies as part of my deep healing and self-discovery journey.
Â
These experiences invited profound inner reflection, emotional release, and spiritual expansion, strengthening my connection to myself and to the greater intelligence that guides us all.
Walking a spiritual path requires clearing inner obstacles and healing old wounds in order to evolve. This calling led me into deep self-discovery and personal transformation.

In addition to my spiritual training, I have a medical background in Therapeutic Recreation, with experience in both acute and community settings. I have worked with individuals living with chronic health conditions, physical and cognitive impairments, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders. This experience has strengthened my belief that what we present outwardly does not always reflect what we carry within.

I understand how easy it is to become disconnected from ourselves — and how unresolved emotions can quietly influence our present and future well-being.

I have supported many individuals in grounding, finding balance, and reconnecting with their intuition so they can discover their unique purpose. I believe the answers we seek are already within us — sometimes we simply need guidance to uncover them.

My journey has led me down a path I never could have imagined. Along the way, I learned to trust myself and to listen to the beat of my own drum.

Now, I trust that this is my purpose: to help you reconnect with yours.

Let me help you remember who you are.
Let me help you listen to the beat of your own drum.

With love,
Courtenay Jean
